Damn good hot dogs and they load you with these amazing thin cut fries! Poppyseed bun. Celery salt. Sport peppers. Everything a chicago dog should be! Did not disapoint at all! Cant wait to try other sandwiches.

The hot dogs are not bad just extremely mediocre, and the are expensive compared to other popular hot dog joints, my biggest problem is the amount of salt the put on their fries.. way to much!!
But like I always say this is just my opinion go
Check it out for yourself -

It's been a while since I ate here. Today my wife said she wanted to stop for a hotdog and I decided to give it a go. I was a regular with the original guys that started this location. They were a great spot for a Chicago style dog or a maxwell st. style polish sausage sandwich. Their polish was almost a foot long served on crusty bread with hot grilled onions. Both of these came with their double cooked fresh cut fries. In the world of fries, these were the best. Crisp exteriors, well salted and tender centers. I was already thinking about this as I waited in the car.
As we drove home I asked to have some of the fries, not being able to wait. What a disappointment, they were recooked old fries. Inedible...period.
The polish now is a standard polish as you can buy at Mariano 's. I had some in the fridge at home. They serve it in a nice stale bun. I should have made my own at home. They also served grilled onions that looked like they had been made last week.
The hot dog was pedestrian at best. A huge disappointment.
Well....at least they had plenty of parking -

Scoobys makes a decent Chicago dog. They use is a poppyseed bun which is always a plus. It's very inexpensive and. It overpriced and they serve you a lot of fries. I also ordered their chili cheese dog and it was also very delicious. Their chili was tasty and they don't skimp you on neither the chili or the cheese. When you look at it and you can't figure out how to pick it up with out getting messy, it's usually a good sign. I'll definitely be returning.
